The Pyrolysis Behaviors of Blended Pellets of Pine Wood and Urea-Formaldehyde Resin

TG-FTIR and PY-GC/MS were used to analyze the pyrolysis behaviors of pine wood, urea-formaldehyde resin (UF resin) their blended pellets. The process was divided into three stages: water evaporation, devolatilization residue decomposition. During pellets, with increase addition ratio UF resin, peak value weight loss decreased in decomposition stage residue, while temperature shifted low-temperature region. This mainly due structural stability pyrolytic carbon produced by which hindered thermal lignin-produced residues pine. FTIR showed that CO2 main product pyrolysis. For nitrogen compounds accounted for a large proportion. With pellets increased significantly. Since synergistic effect promoted further organic oxygen-containing structure, NO release still increased. co-pyrolysis more nitrogen-containing macromolecular phenol derivatives, lipids ketones, resulting small-molecule acids alcohols.
